1938 United States 5 coin. Silver Mint Uncirculated Set Outstanding as a 1938 Birth Year Set. Nice mint uncirculated Philadelphia minted silver coin set in Capital display. Silver set with eye appeal and value. An eye appealing custom set of mixed mint state coins across the board with brilliance and little patina.

Clearly one tough to find low mintage pre-WWII set, a substantial addition to one's collection, or outstanding as a birth year keepsake set for anyone born in this particular year. It is handsomely housed in a Capital 3 panel acrylic U. Mint Set display as shown in the many large images of the actual set offered.

It features three white silver coins, attractive well struck high value silver half dollar, mint state silver quarter, and beautiful brilliant silver dime. The set is completed with boldly struck nickel exhibiting near full Monticello steps, and the flashy "red" cent. An uncommonly found, terribly scarce to rare 1938 silver coin set in a better 3 panel display! This set consists of business strike (not proof) Lincoln wheat cent, Jefferson nickel in its first year of mintage, Mercury silver dime, Washington silver quarter, and Walking Liberty silver half dollar.

All five coins were produced that year at the U. Mint in Philadelphia and bear no mint mark.
