1955 US Proof Set Toned Quarter & Franklin The End of an Era

  

It's a handsome'55 Proof Set- the final series to be packaged in the mint-issued small "jewelry" box format. The proof coins are pristine, sleeved inside individual plastic baggies that are stapled together, then wrapped in tissue and stored inside the box, and initially sealed with brown tape and stamped.

The toning revealed in these images is authentic, and any nicks or scratches are not on the actual coins, but on the plastic sleeves. A tasty set from the end of an era.
