1976-S Bicentennial SILVER 3-Coin Proof Set PCGS PF70DCAM RARE PERFECT SET WOW! This Limited Edition Bicentennial 3-Coin "Silver" Proof Set was released in 1976 from the San Francisco Mint. These sets only included 3 denominations... Eisenhower Dollar, Kennedy Half-Dollar and Washington Quarter. All made of 40% SILVER. This Special Edition Bicentennial set is the ONLY year where the Eisenhower Dollar, Kennedy Half-Dollar and Washington Quarter all had alternate designs on the reverse from its original design before and after 1976. And still till this day. No other year will bear these special commemorative reverse designs. It was also the very first time in U. Most existing original sets contain coins mainly in "Uncirculated" condition at best. They also made a "Clad" version as well. To find this Bicentennial 3-Coin Set or even each coin individually in a flawless perfect "Proof 70" grade is extremely difficult. This is due to the mint technology still improving in the mid 1970's.
