2016 United States Silver Eagle 30th Anniversary with Edge Lettering 2 Coin Set

  
In 2016 the US Mint in honor of the 30th Anniversary of the first minting of the American Eagle coin minted a new version of the coin that features a smooth edge instead of the customary reeded edge as well as engraved lettering on that edge to replace the anti-counterfeit feature of the reeded edge. This is the second coin series with this feature, the first being the Blue Ridge Parkway 5 ounce silver eagle of the America the Beautiful series.
